I Love That for You — November 9

Milk Bottles With a Farmhouse Caddy

When cleaning out my mom’s house, I came across a ton of knickknacks….and I mean a lot. That woman singly handily kept HomeGoods in business. One item I couldn’t part with was this dairy bottle and chicken wire caddy. Mason jars are cool and all, but there’s something about these bottles that give a relaxed rustic vibe. These are great for storing nuts, seeds, and any other easy to access kitchen staple. It can also serve as a place to put your makeup brushes in or store household items such as rubber bands and safety pins.
Where can I find them?
There are a lot of options at Amazon or scope them out at your local HomeGoods.

KITU Super Cold Brew Coffee

My boyfriend came home with this when they were out of my usual cold brew coffee, so I made him sleep on the couch. Just kidding. I decided to embrace the change and try it out—total game-changer. I love this brand because it’s not watery and doesn’t give off that weird aftertaste you get from the usual store-bought cold brews. I give this cold brew extra stars for providing a nice boost of caffeine without feeling like your heart is beating out of your chest.
Um, I’m also living for this label, so I’m going to use the bottle as a flower vase once I’ve finished it off.
Where to get your caffeine fix?
This brand is sold at Stop & Shop, Walmart, Target, and other chain food stores, but you can also get it on (you guessed it) Amazon.
Wet n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick in Peach Bums

This is making its way to be my all-time favorite blush, and it costs less than $5. I throw this baby on when I don’t want to look like Edward Cullen. I especially love the shimmery tint that compliments my highlighter. A little goes a long way, so this stick will last you a while.
How to apply?
It’s important to remember that the goal is not to look like a Raggedy Ann doll. Blush, in all its glory, is to provide a subtle hint of color that accents your cheekbone and gives you a natural rosy flush.
- This is one of the last steps to your makeup routine. Always put ‘your face’ on first.
- Smile. Feel that hard bone? That’s your stencil.
- Place your pointer finger at the side of your mouth and along the laugh line to show you where the blush should end.
- Starting from your pointer finger, apply blush lightly to the apples of your cheeks and stop where the bone (hardness) ends.
- Use your fingers or a makeup brush to blend.
- If you went too far wipe it off and start over. Nah, you can just blot it with a tissue.
OPI Nail Polish in Chiffon-d of You

I am all about dark nail colors for fall, but it becomes very noticeable when they chip. If you’re anything like me, it takes only a few seconds after leaving the nail salon before you’ve smudged your nails digging for your car keys.
I wanted a polish light enough that you couldn’t see chips but bright and fun enough to give my nails some extra pizazz during these cooler months. This polish has a pearly pink glow to it but isn’t completely translucent. The opacity changes with each coat you add, depending on the look you are going for. It’s also a color that is complementary to silver, gold, and rose gold jewelry.
You can purchase this polish virtually anywhere online for under $10.
Trader Joe’s Lavender Salt Scrub

If you go to Trader Joe’s and neglect the personal care aisle, then you’re doing yourself a disservice. There is a great selection of affordable and simple products that are worth exploring once you find your way out of the cheese section. I will admit some products are better than others; however, I highly suggest TJ’s Rose Water Facial Toner and Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer.
My most recent find was the Lavender Salt Scrub. This product leaves your skin INCREDIBLY soft which is especially key in winter months when your skin starts to get dry and rough.
Do I sense a collab?
If you’re a runner or work on your feet all day, try rubbing some of the salt on your soles and scrub them with a pumice stone. The achiness will be gone in seconds!
